In dieser Filmdokumentation entstand ein Dokumentarfilm über die Stadtteilentwicklung des Bülowviertels in Leipzig. Auf dem jährlich stattfindenden Bülowstraßenmusikfestival wurden anläßlich des zum 10. mal stattfindenden Straßenfestes zahlreiche Anwohner und Mitwirkende interviewt. Diese Interviews wurden mit Impressionen des Festes unterlegt. Die Filmdokumentation zeigt die Entwicklung des Stadtviertels auf, welches noch vor 10 Jahren durch Leerstand geprägt war und welches sich nun zu einem lebenswerten Lebensidyll in Leipzig entwickelt hat. Beispielhaft steht das Bülowviertel hier für eine gelungene Stadtteilentwicklung durch Bürgerbeteiligung und den Einsatz des Bülowviertel-Vereins. Diese ehrenamtliche Dokumentation war uns ein Herzensanliegen da wir selber unseren Sitz in diesem Viertel in Leipzig haben.

This documentary film was produced about the neighborhood development of the Bülowviertel district in Leipzig. On the occasion of the 10th annual Bülowstraßenmusikfestival, numerous residents and contributors were interviewed. These interviews were combined with impressions of the festival. The documentary film shows the development of the neighborhood, which was characterized by vacancy just 10 years ago and has now developed into a livable idyll in Leipzig. The Bülowviertel serves as an exemplary model for successful neighborhood development through citizen participation and the efforts of the Bülowviertel Association. This voluntary documentation was close to our hearts, as we ourselves have our office in this district in Leipzig.
